A One-of-a-Kind Home That Was Transformed From Dated to Timeless

This Westport/Waunakee home had a 1970's kitchen that was in need of a complete remodel - as was the rest of the home. Originally a u-shaped peninsula, with hanging upper cabinets that blocked any view, our focus was to redesign this entire home in a way that embraced the gorgeous views that these homeowners were so fortunate to have. By removing the upper cabinets and peninsula, and installing a large linear island, we were already able to see a dramatic difference in the way this room lives.

This kitchen remodeling is part of a NARI Madison CotY Award winning Entire House Remodel project.

Additional Prep Sink

In order to avoid making trips around the island, a prep sink was also included, allowing the cook to access everything they need. This kitchen remodel was part of a whole house renovation. Click here to see the rest of the project.

A Wood Triple Window

A large triple window overlooks the backyard and can be enjoyed by the homeowners while standing at the sink, or cooking at the island stove top.

Modern Flush Cabinet Doors

Newly installed pantry cabinets, wall oven, and refrigerator on one side of the kitchen, which allows all cooking to be done on one side of the island.

Award Winning Project

The design and remodeling of this 1970's kitchen was part of an entire home remodeling project that included an expansive sunroom and master suite addition. We are pleased to tell you that it was awarded the NARI Madison CotY Award for an Entire House Remodel from $500K-$750K.
